Celebrate National Hunting and Fishing Day with the NC Wildlife Resources Commission! Our annual Wildlife Expo at the John E. Pechmann Fishing Education Center is the biggest event of the year! There are more than 14 hands-on, interactive exhibits and demonstrations, and it's a great way to learn more about the natural environment and the important roles that hunting and fishing play in North Carolina's fish and wildlife conservation. Activities at the 2023 Wildlife Expo include:

  • Boating Safety
  • Duck and goose calls
  • Kayaking
  • Fishing
  • Reptiles & amphibians
  • Fly-fishing
  • Tree-stand safety
  • Trapping
  • Hunting heritage
